Out in the Dark tells the story of an Israeli lawyer who falls for a Palestinian psychology student.
The film was released in 2012 at the Haifa Film Fest. The film, a directorial debut for Michael Mayer, portrays the political complications of an Israeli falling in love with a Palestinian in the West Bank and the inevitable problems of being gay in a conservative Muslim society.
