Docu Criticizing Hegseth’s Scrutiny of Women in Combat
Former U.S. Navy pilot Joy Bronson helmed the feature that will be distributed by Abramorama and will get preview screenings timed to Veterans Day.

A new documentary feature concerns the challenges faced by women in combat.
AB2 Media Group’s theatrical division Abramorama has acquired American distribution rights for The Fight to Fight.
The company plans a nationwide theatrical release in March 2027 for director Joy Bronson’s film that was co-directed by Mark Romanov and is presented in association with ROCO Films.

Arriving amid renewed challenges surrounding women’s service in combat, The Fight to Fight centers on the women who have stood their ground to serve in America’s military and the impact on society at large.
The documentary, which includes numerous celebrated female veterans, follows Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth having ordered a Pentagon review to scrutinize women’s service in ground combat.
Onstage conversations from the film’s team will follow both screenings.
The news about the movie landing distribution comes during a history-making midterm election cycle for women veterans.
A record 95 women vets ran for the congressional primaries, with 38 landing on the general election ballot, according to With Honor Action.
The film features former Air Force captain Chrissy Houlahan, who won reelection to the U.S. House in Pennsylvania this week.
Richard Hutton and Joe Skorupa serve as producers, while Sean Mullin executive produces.
“Joy Bronson has made an important film that captures history while it is still being written,” says AB2 Media Group and Abramorama CEO Karol Martesko-Fenster. “The Fight to Fight is a deeply inspiring portrait of women who met every standard and changed one of America’s most storied institutions from the inside. We’re honored to bring their stories of courage and resilience to theaters nationwide at the precise moment these advancements are under threat once again.”
Adds Bronson, “As a former Navy pilot, I know what it means to love serving your country while having your opportunities limited because you are a woman.
I began The Fight to Fight to celebrate a historic victory and never expected to document how that progress could be lost. We’re thrilled to partner with Abramorama and ROCO to bring these extraordinary women’s stories to audiences. I hope these women’s experiences encourage audiences to reconsider their assumptions about who belongs on the frontlines.”
