Patti Harrison
Born on October 31, 1990, Harrison is an American actress and comedian, who rose to prominence for her supporting role as Ruthie in the TV series Shrill.
Harrison was named one of Variety’s “10 Comics to Watch” in 2019.
With her subversive, deadpan comedy, Harrison is having her big moment in entertainment, as trans actor and writer of Big Mouth.
Her early on-camera appearances include bit parts in the comedies High Maintenance, I Think You Should Leave With Tim Robinson and Broad City.
She, currently appears as leading lady opposite Ed Helms in the Sundance hit Together Together. Harrison was cast in the cisgender part of a surrogate when the vast majority of trans actors in Hollywood are offered only trans parts.
Harrison, who was kicked off Twitter in January for impersonating the Nilla Wafers account with a clever send-up of corporate lip service to LGBTQ concerns, recently was in the Showtime breakout Ziwe.
