Martin McDonagh’s The Banshees of Inisherin was named Best Picture, one of five awards that the Searchlight film won. McDonagh also won Best Screenplay, and shared the Best Director prize with Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert for Everything Everywhere All at Once from A24. Banshees co-stars Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson won the Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor prizes respectively.
Michelle Yeoh won the Best Actress prize for Everything Everywhere All at Once, while Hong Chau won Best Supporting Actress for The Whale, also released by A24.
Laura Poitras’s All the Beauty and the Bloodshed received NYFCO’s Best Documentary prize.
