The four-hour, R-rated cut will hit HBO Max on March 18.
The four-hour cut re-vamps the maligned 2017 film to restore filmmaker Snyder’s original vision. The filmmaker left the project before release due to a family tragedy, and Joss Whedon stepped in to oversee reshoots. The theatrical release earned a disappointing $657.9 million.

Snyder filmed several minutes of new footage and assembled castmembers Ben Affleck (Batman), Ray Fisher (Cyborg) and Amber Heard (Mera) for the new shots. He also enlisted Suicide Squad star Leto to play Joker, though he wasn’t involved in the original version of the movie. Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Henry Cavill (Superman) and Ezra Miller (Flash) also star in Justice League.

“It will be an entirely new thing, and, especially talking to those who have seen the released movie, a new experience apart from that movie,” Snyder promised.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League, which is rated R, hits HBO Max on March 18.
