Cinematheque Award recipient Michael B. Jordan will be honored at the Nov. 20 gala with a career retrospective in the weeks leading up to the event.

The retrospective will celebrate and showcase key performances by the actor, culminating in a 70mm presentation of Sinners with filmmaker Ryan Coogler and Jordan in person.

On Nov. 5, fans can watch Jordan’s breakout performance in 2013’s Fruitvale Station

It will be followed by 2015’s Creed on Nov. 7; 2019’s Just Mercy on Nov. 14; 2018’s Black Panther on Nov. 15; and Sinners on Nov. 22, after the gala.

He made his directorial debut with Creed III, and will next direct and star in The Thomas Criwn Affair.

He is a TIME 100 honoree and Academy Museum Vanguard Award recipient.

Jordan joins previous Cinematheque Award winners, Spike Lee, Ryan Reynolds, Reese Witherspoon, Ridley Scott, Amy Adams, Helen Mirren and, last year, Jessica Chastain.

The American Cinematheque Awardsl take place at The Beverly Hilton as  annual fundraiser for the non-profit backing year-round programming at the Aero Theatre in Santa Monica, the Los Feliz 3 Theatre in Los Feliz and the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood.
