‘A Long Winter,’ Director Andrew Haigh
Andrew Haigh
Vittorio Zunino Celotto
Andrew Haigh’s 2017 feature Lean on Pete premiered at Venice Fest, but left critics divided.
The British director served on the 2024 Venice Fest Jury.
But Haigh picked Telluride for the premiere of his breakout feature, All of Us Strangers, with a towetring performance by Andrew Scott.
The mountain setting of the new drama, adapted from a Colm Tóibín short story and starring Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Caitríona Balfe and Fred Hechinger, would seem to favor Colorado’s Telluride over the Lido.
The film is made by producer-distributor Mubi.
