The marketing stunt for ‘The Last House’ has a performer trapped above Sunset Boulevard across three days.

A man is seemingly trapped inside a Netflix billboard above Sunset Boulevard.
The potential traffic-stopping (or perhaps accident-causing) sight is marketing stunt for the streamer’s new thriller.
The unidentified actor entered the installation, crafted to look like the window of a house, on Thursday and will leave on Saturday, August 8.
From Netflix: “He’ll attempt to maintain a sense of normalcy over extended periods of time while ‘stuck’ in his elevated, enclosed set 30 feet above the ground at Selma Avenue and Sunset Blvd — communicating with commuters and passersby below via whiteboard as an eerie nod to the family’s own isolation in the film.”

A video shows the man eating cereal and rather confused and miserable– it’s the same actor the entire time, not multiple actors in shifts.

The Last House stars Greta Lee and Wagner Moura, is directed by Louis Leterrier (Fast X), and is about a family of four who are “suddenly sealed inside their home with no way out, and must work together to survive against both their dwindling resources and the mysterious, looming threat that is keeping them trapped.”
Despite its sci-fi and horror elements, The Last House is a psychological drama and survival thriller about four people using their considerable wits but limited resources to stay alive.
The Last House hits Netflix on Friday.
