For playing a woman in a difficult marriage in the drama Twice in a Lifetime (1985), Madigan  earned a nomination for Best Supporting Actress Oscar.

Much of the movie’s potential rests on an unknown actress, Chase Infiniti, age 25, making her film debut. 

In 1984, Stoppard won the Tony for “The Real Thing,” which garnered another Tony in 2000 for revival.

Gehr’s film Serene Velocity (1970) has been selected for preservation in the U.S. National Film Registry.

At age 33, Benning received MFA from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
