I Am Love: Interview with Tilda Swinton

Tilda Swinton stars as Emma Recchi in the "I Am Love," written and directed by Luca Guadagnino. The Italian film is being released by Magnolia Pictures on June 18. 

Swinton on what drew her to the project, "Change, overcoming the idea of oneself, as created by society, has been one of my main interests since Orlando. In Io Sono L’Amore, a film that Luca and I worked on for 7 years, these themes are presented and they are in a way that is even more magnetic."

 

 

 

 

Twilight Saga: Eclipse: Interview with author Stephenie Meyer

Stephenie Meyer is the author of the Twilight novels. The newest film in the Twilight Saga, "Eclipse," stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner and is being released June 30 by Summit Entertainment.

"For me the biggest theme was always about having to face the consequences of your choices, and that even the right choices have consequences, and not making a choice has a consequence.," says Meyer. "One of the biggest things about growing up is that grownups realize, if I do A then I have to deal with B, and they take that into account. Bella has to become a grownup and start dealing with the consequences of her actions.” 

 

 

 

 

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse – Interview with director David Slade

David Slade is the director of "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse," starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner. The film is being released on June 30 by Summit Entertainment.

“What attracted me to this project was that it is a great story and a tremendous challenge for me as a filmmaker. I don’t like doing the same thing over and over again, because I learn from being challenged. On one level this was the biggest challenge out there – to make a film of this scope, in this amount of time, and to go into a different genre essentially. Yes, I've done a vampire film, but Eclipse is a very different kind of thing," says Slade.

 

Love Ranch: Interview with director Taylor Hackford

Taylor Hackford is the director of "Love Ranch," starring Helen Mirren and Joe Pesci. The film is being released by E1 Entertainment on June 30.

“I’m interested in personal stories. I’m interested in stories about working-class people, and Mark Jacobson understood that,” explains Hackford about the draw of the material.
