International Rights on Michelle Pfeiffer Starrer ‘Wild Four O’Clocks’

Protagonist has sold out internationally the directorial debut of ‘The Batman’ co-writer Peter Craig.

Sony label Stage 6 Films has taken int’l rights on Wild Four O’Clocks, the new feature starring Michelle Pfeiffer and the directorial debut of screenwriter Peter Craig, who penned The Batman alongside Matt Reeves and worked on Top Gun: Maverick.

Protagonist Pictures has sold out all international territories on the film, with VVS Films for Canada, Paradiso Films for Benelux and Eagle Pictures for Italy also acquiring the title.

CAA Media Finance is handling domestic sales for the film, which is produced by three-time Oscar nominee Marc Platt (La La LandThe Trial of the Chicago 7Bridge of Spies) and Emmy Award-winner Adam Siegel (OsloDriveScott Pilgrim vs. the World).

Jon Freedberg, exec vice president, content strategy and operations and Katie Anderson, vice president, acquisitions made the deal for Sony.

In Wild Four O’Clocks, after their father is sent to prison, two young brothers are placed in the care of their estranged grandmother, a vibrant woman who must learn quickly how to care for the heartbroken yet strong-willed boys.
