When You’re in Love (1937): Musical Starring Grace Moore and the Young Cary Grant

Robert Riskin, better known as writer of Frank Capra’s best works, directed only one entire film, When You’re in Love, a minor musical with Grace Moore and Cary Grant, just before the latter became a bona fide star.

Unsuccessful at the box office, When You’re in Love is now remembered for an unusual publicity stunt: silent film-star Louise Brooks was given a chance at a comeback by appearing as a chorus girl in this movie.
