A charming comedy, Tom, Dick and Harry was directed by Garson Kanin (better known as screenwriter with wife Ruth Gordon), and written by Paul Jarrico, who was nominated for the best Original Screenplay Oscar (he was later blacklisted as one of the Hollywood Ten).
Ginger Rogers dominates the screwball comedy as a women who cannot decide which of her three boyfriends she wants to marry. They are Tom (George Murphy), a car salesman; Dick (Alan Marshall), a millionaire, and Harry (Burgess Meredith).
The tale unfolds as a series of daydreams, in which Rogers imagines her life with each one of the three men.
Phil Silvers has a couple of funny scenes as an icecream man.
