There Will Be Blood: Movie Lines to Remember

“I drink your milkshake!” Oscar winner Daniel Day-Lewis, threatening Paul Dano in Paul Thomas Anderson’s There Will Be Blood.

A variation of above line was uttered by Senator Albert Fall of New Mexico during congressional hearings in 1924 on the Teapot Dome scandal, which involved oil tycoon Edward Doheny.

Dohney served as the basis for Daniel Day-Lewis’ character: “Sir, if you have a milkshake and I have a milkshake, and my straw reaches across the room, I’ll end up drinking your milkshake.”
