In Jeff Baena’s Spin Me Round, frequent collaborator Alison Brie plays a quiet American whose trip to Italy goes weirdly awry.

The light feature has other members of the Baena gang (Aubrey Plaza, Molly Shannon) making for an eccentric ensemble, many playing characters as unpredictable as Brie’s is strait-laced.

New member is the handsome Alessandro Nivola, in a rare comedic turn.
