Sony Pictures has released an official behind-the-scenes vignette for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, giving fans a look at the first day of production.

In the 60-second video, star Tom Holland suits up as Spidey, interacts with young fans and shoots a scene on top of a tank careening down the street.

“It’s day one, my fourth ever day one on ‘Spider-Man,’” Holland says as he walks onto set. “It’s funny, putting the suit on, it feels different this time, somehow. It’s also the first time we ever had fans on set day one, so it’s really exciting to share this with them.”

“We’ve got some familiar faces on set,” Holland continues. “I’m just going to do my best, hopefully get it right, no pressure.”

Soundtracked by a heroic overture, the rest of the vignette shows Holland performing a high-wire stunt on top of a tank and checking out his performance on a monitor between shots. We see Holland yank on the entrance of the military vehicle, but the handle snaps off under the pressure of his Spidey-strength. At the end of the take, Holland flexes and shouts into the camera, “That felt sick!”

Sony and Marvel have shared “Brand New Day” sneak-peaks.

On August 2, fans got a first look at the new Spidey-Suit via teaser shared on the official “Spider-Man” Movie X account. Holland himself also shared first-day photos on Instagram.

“Brand New Day” is the fourth Spider-Man movie after 2021’s “Spider-Man: No Way Home.” “Shang-Chi” director Destin Daniel Cretton helms the Marvel blockbuster. Sadie Sink and Liza Colón-Zayas make their MCU debut in the film, starring alongside previously announced cast members Jon Bernthal and Mark Ruffalo.
