Oppenheimer led the 2024 Oscars pack with 13 total nominations. This included three for filmmaker Nolan, who was nominated for best picture, director and adapted screenplay.
Closely behind in the nominations tally was Poor Things with 11. Lanthimos was the recipient of two of those, with the filmmaker nominated for best picture and director. Also picking up two nominations for the film was star Emma Stone, recognized for best picture and actress.

Maestro picked up 7 nominations, including three for Bradley Cooper, who was recognized for best picture, actor and original screenplay.

Also picking up a pair of nominations was American Fiction filmmaker Cord Jefferson for best picture and adapted screenplay.
Jonathan Glazer was nominated for best director and adapted screenplay for The Zone of Interest. American Fiction and The Zone of Interest each collected five nominations.
Among those nominated for their work in different projects was special effects supervisor Neil Corbould, who is part of the team for three films nominated for visual effects: The Creator, Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One and Napoleon.
Simone Coco was nominated in the visual effects category for working on both Napoleon and Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One. In the sound category, Tom Ozanich and Dean Zupancic were both nominated for The Creator and Maestro, while Richard King’s work in both Oppenheimer and Maestro was also honored in the category.
The ceremony airs live Sunday, March 10, on ABC.
