Music in My Heart (1940): Oscar-Nominated Musical, Starring Young Rita Hayworth

In Music in My Heart, directed by Joseph Santley, Tony Martin plays a singer from a European country (unnamed), who faces deportation–unless he can get work.

Sure enough, he gets a job–and with Rita Hayworth no less.
