Mosul, the war action movie produced by Anthony and Joe Russo, is heading to Netflix.
The digital streamer has picked up the movie and will release it in November 2020.

Mosul tells the true story of a bunch of Iraqi men who fought ISIS when the terrorist group took their homes, families, and city. It focuses on the Nineveh SWAT team, a renegade police unit who waged a guerrilla operation against ISIS in a desperate struggle to save their home city, located in northern Iraq and site of major battled in the mid-2010s.

The movie was Inspired by Luke Mogelson’s 2017 The New Yorker piece, “The Desperate Battle to Destroy ISIS.”

Suhail Dabbach (The Hurt Locker); Adam Bessa (Extraction, the Blessid); Is’Haq Elias star in the picture that was produced by the Russos, and Mike Larocca via AGBO as well as by The New Yorker Studios ((The Old Man and the Gun, Only the Brave).
