Manglehorn and IFC Films have won their appeal to overturn the R rating assigned to the film for some sexual content.

Instead, the indie drama got a PG-13 rating–for sexual content, language and for accident and surgery images.

Manglehorn stars Pacino as a small-town locksmith living in the past who embarks on a new friendship with a woman (Holly Hunter).

The cast also includes Harmony Korine and Chris Messina.

Manglehorn world premiered at the Venice Film Fest, followed by North American premiere at the Toronto Film Fes.

Green represented IFC at Thursday’s hearing, while Joan Graves, head of the Classification and Rating Administration, represented the ratings board.
