Voice-over narration has proven very popular in movies’ beginnings, due to the multiple functions it could serve.
In Mad Max: Fury Road, the opening scene serves as introduction to Max’s world, helped by the incredible cinematography and production design.
In the first, wide shot, from behind, we see the car rolling into the dust, with Tom Hardy scrambling away from a mob of strange, pale assailants.
