Little Men (1941): McLeod’s Version of Louisa May Alcott’s Novel

Norman Z. McLeod directed Little Men, based on the 1871 novel of the same name by Louisa May Alcott.

Jo March (Kay Francis), the lead character in Alcott’s novel “Little Women,” now runs a private school for young boys.

The movie was a commercial failure.
