Limbo, Ben Sharrock’s striking film, centers on four asylum seekers on a remote island in Scotland. They are taking cultural-awareness classes, while awaiting for their refugee claims to be processed.
The film was named as an Official Selection of the 2020 Cannes Film Festival, but when the physical festival was cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic, it premiered at the 2020 Toronto International Film Fest.
