Yaron Zilberman directed Incitement (Hebrew: ‘Terrible Days”) an Israeli thriller about the contexts and events leading to the 1995 assassination of premier Rabin.

The film was written by Ron Leshem, Zilberman, and Yair Hizmi.
The tale unfolds as a psycho-social profile of Yigal Amir in the year leading up to his assassination of then prime minister Yitzhak Rabin.
It was screened in the Contemporary World Cinema section at the 2019 Toronto Film Fest. At the film’s world premiere, the screening was halted and the audience was evacuated due toa security threat. The screening resumed when the theater was declared safe.
Incitement received the 2019 Ophir Award (Israeli Oscar) for Best Picture.
The film was later selected as Israel’s entry for the 2020 Best International Feature Oscar, but it was not nominated.
