Dead Pool, The (1988): Clint Eastwood’s Fifth Dirty Harry Film

The Dead Pool is the fifth film in Clint Eastwood’s Dirty Harry popular series, which began in 1971.

A sports pool is placing bets on which famous person will die next. Suddenly a serial killer who preys upon celebrities enters the scene, radically changing the odds in the pool.

As a celeb, maverick cop Dirty Harry Callahan becomes a target of the killer, as does high-profile TV journalist Patricia Clarkson.

While not the best entry in the franchise, it contains some nice action sequences, including a thrilling car-chase sequence thrown
