Hans Petter Moland directed Cold Pursuit, an action thriller from a screenplay by Frank Baldwin, starring Liam Neeson, Tom Bateman, Tom Jackson, Domenick Lombardozzi, Julia Jones, John Doman, and Laura Dern.
Cold Pursuit is a remake of the 2014 Norwegian film In Order of Disappearance (Kraftidioten), also directed by Moland.
The tale follows a vengeful snowplow driver who starts killing the members of a drug cartel afterthe murder of his son.
The film was released on February 8, 2019, by Summit Entertainment.
It grossed $76 million worldwide and received generally positive reviews from Critics praised Neeson’s performance, the action sequences and the dark humor, but the movie was a commercial failure vis-a-vis its budget.
