Can’t Help Singing (1945): Deanna Durbin’s Oscar Nominated Musical

Frank Ryan’s musical stars Deanna Durbin (in her only color film), who goes West to pursue her man

The supporting cast, including Leonid Kinskey, Clara Blandick, and Thomas Gomez, adds some color to an otherwise boring musical.

Durbin also sings “Californ-i-ay,” “Any Moment Now,” and the title tune.
