Beats of the Anatov (2014): Hajooj Kuka’s Chronicle of Sudanese Farmers Winner of People Choice Award

Toronto Film Fest 2014: The People’s Choice Documentary Award went to Hajooj Kuka’s Beats of the Anatov.

The film follows the lives and struggles of Sudanese farmers, herders and rebels in the Blue Nile and Nuba Mountain region.

The first runner-up for the doc audience award was David Thorpe’s Do I Sound Gay? and the second runner-up was Ethan Hawke’s Seymour: An Introduction.
