Kidman and Dickinson Engage in Risky Affair in ‘Babygirl’ Trailer
A24 releases Halina Reijn’s erotic thriller is playing now in theaters after world premiering at the Venice Film Fest.

Oscar winner Nicole Kidman and Harris Dickinson explore power dynamics with a high-stakes affair in the trailer for the erotic thriller Babygirl.
A24 releases writer-director Halinma Reijn’s feature in theaters nationwide on December 25, at the height of the Oscar Awards season.
Also starring are Banderas and Sophie Wilde.
Babygirl centers on Romy (Kidman), a strong, feared CEO who begins a romance with Samuel (Dickinson), a much-younger intern at her company.
“If we’re going to do this, we need to set some rules that you and I both agree on,” Dickinson instructs Kidman in the trailer. “Starting with, I tell you what to do, and you do it.”
The film is sexy, dark and unpredictable, featuring Kidman in spectacular form, swinging smoothly from acts of outrage to fear to unbridled lust.
Babygirl premiered at the Venice Film Fest to great acclaim–Kidman won the Best Actress kudo. At this point, Kidman is one of the frontrunners for the 2025 Best Actress Oscar; if she wins, it would be her second lead kudo after The hours (2002), in which she played Virginia Woolf.
Recent credits of Kidman, one of Hollywood’s busiest actors, include the features Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom and A Family Affair, along with the TV series The Perfect Couple and Expats.
Handsomer Dickinson is known for roles in the Oscar nominated films Triangle of Sadness, Where the Crawdads Sing and The Iron Claw, and the TV series A Murder at the End of the World.
