Are They Still Shooting? (1994): Political Drama about Two Brothers

Set in New York, the provocatively titled “Are They Still Shooting?” is a political drama about two brothers, one on the front lines, the other avenging his father’s death.

The movie tries ambitiously but ultimately unsuccessfully to be a timely allegorical depiction of the raging war in Bosnia and Croatia.

“Are They Still Shooting” received its world premiere at the 1994 Sundance Film Festival in the Dramatic Competition series.
