Drama ‘Apples Never Fall’ Debuts Trailer

Based on the book from the author of Big Little Lies, the series also stars Sam Neill, Jake Lacy and Alison Brie.

Peacock has unveiled March 14 premiere date and the full trailer for the seven-episode Apples Never Falla limited series that marks Annette Bening’s first TV role since her Emmy-nominated turn in HBO’s 2005 telepic, Mrs. Harris.

The showrunner is Melanie Marnich (The OA, The Affair).

Apples Never Fall is based on the Liane Moriarty novel of the same name.

It revolves around Stan (Sam Neill) and Joy Delaney (Bening), who have sold their successful tennis academy and are ready to start the golden years of their lives.

While they look forward to spending time with their four adult children (played by Jake Lacy, Alison Brie, Conor Merrigan-Turner and Essie Randles), everything changes when a wounded young woman knocks on their door, bringing the kind of excitement they’ve been missing.

David Heyman (Wonka, Barbie) exec produces the series alongside Marnich.
