Clint Eastwood’s war movie, “American Sniper,” starring Bradley Cooper, is now set to bow with a limited release on Christmas Day.
The film is based on the true story of a Navy SEAL sniper whose is credited with the most confirmed kills in U.S. military history.
The Warner -Village Roadshow co-production pic also stars Sienna Miller and Luke Grimes and will expand to a wide release in January.
The move shows that the studio sees this as another awards contender. Chances are, they will give it a hard push during award season.
