As the attacks intensified in Gaza and medical capabilities were decimated, American doctors felt both a professional and a moral obligation to act.
The work involved making the difficult but necessary decisions after an attack, caring for injured children (some badly and fatally), while being concerned for their own personal safety.
The three physicians are individuals from different backgrounds–they are unified in their goal to ease suffering, and raise their voices as citizens to demand action from their own government.
