7 Days in September: Steven Rosenbaum’s 9/11 Docu

Steven J. Rosenbaum directed the documentary feature 7 Days in September, a look at 9/11 and the week after.

Rosenbaum has also created the CameraPlanet 9/11 Archive,  an archive of footage from September 11 and its aftermath.

Born in 1961, Steven J. Rosenbaum is an American TV producer and Filmmake, known as the creator of MTV News Unfiltered.

Rosenbaum has received 2 Emmy Awards, 6 New York Festival’s World Medals, 4 CINE Golden Eagles, and 6 Telly Awards. CameraPlanet holds a large archive of videos from 9/11, mainly consisting of home videos taken by professionals and amateurs in September 2001.

He is the author of Curation Nation curationnation.org published by McGrawHill Business on March 11, 2011. The book explores the emerging phenomenon of human organization and publishing of content.

In 2011, Rosenbaum created The 9/11 Memorial: Past, Present, and Future 911MemorialApp.com a hybrid book and multi-media offering for the Apple iPad. The AppBook received both critical acclaim and criticism for not supporting android devices.

Rosenbaum won an Emmy Award for BROADCAST: New York and then created the series MTV News UNfiltered for MTV, viewer-generated content in broadcast. “News Unfiltered” encouraged people to film their own stories.
