David Hemmings, still better known as an actor (Blowup) directed The 14, a British drama, written by Roland Starke and starring Jack Wild and June Brown.
It was also released as Existence and, in the U.S, as The Wild Little Bunch.
The 14 world-premiered at the 23rd Berlin Film Festival where it won the Silver Bear.
Its fact-based plot concerns the fate of fourteen children in West London who are orphaned after the death of their single mother.
