Pál Erdőss directed The Princess, a black and white Hungarian drama about an orphaned teenage factory worker girl, named Jutka.
The film won the Caméra d’Or at the 1983 Cannes Film Fest, and the Golden Leopard at the 1983 Locarno Film Fest.
