First Academy Ceremony (1929)
A group shot of the first Academy ceremony, in May 2029, was captured by unknown photographer in the Hollywood Roosevelt’s Blossom Room.
It marked the second meeting of AMPAS, established in 1929, but it was the first in which awards were given.
