Oscar Speeches: Paltrow, Gwyneth–Shakespeare in Love

The exciting experience of winning the Best Actress Oscar (at her first and only nomination), for Shakespeare in Love in 1998, is now a blur for Gwyneth Paltrow.

“I don’t remember a thing,” she says. “I don’t remember walking up the stairs. I don’t remember saying anything.”

Where does she keep her Oscar? “It’s in her library. I have a house in Long Island and it’s there,” she says.
