Oscar Roles: Buono, Victor–What Ever Hapened to Baby Jane?

Victor Buono, a 25-year-old screen newcomer, weighing 300 pounds, was cast as a mama’s boy in Robert Aldrich’s horror picture, What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? in 1962.

Buono also appeared in another Bette Davis horror movie, the 1964 Hush, Hush, Sweet Charlotte.

He died in 1982, at age 43.
