Oscar: Polish Films Nominated (or Winning) for the Best Foreign (International) Language Film Oscar

As of 2020, 56 Polish films have been submitted for Best Foreign Language Film Oscar, of which 12 resulted in official nomination, and only one has won, Ida in 2015.

Conclusions:

Four of the Polish nominated films were directed by Andrzej Wajda, Poland’s best known director, though none won.

Two Polish nominees were directed by Paweł Pawlikowski, one of which, Ida, won in 2015.
