Bing Crosby stars in this sentimental musical drama made at Columbia.
In jail by mistake, Crosby’s Larry meets a condemned prisoner, and promises the doomed man to look after his little girl, Patsy (Edith Fellows), when he gets out.
The girl’s grandfather (Donald Meek) is also part of the “deal,” and soon Crosby has more responsibilities than he cares to.
Crosby sings the title song to the girl and to Madge Evans
The film’s cast also includes Louis Armstrong and Lionel Hampton.
