Oscar Movies: Little Kidnappers (1954)–Low-Budget Indie

This low-budget indie, charminly made by Philip Leacock from a screenplay by Neil Paterson, is set in Nova Scotia.  It centers on two boys, forbidden by their grandfather (Duncan Macrae) to have a dog,   who discover an abandoned baby whom they secretly raise in the wood.
