Based on Alexander Dumas’popular novel, Ten Years After, and directed by Allan Dwan, The Iron Mask stars Douglas Fairbanks at the height of his career as DÁrtagnan, who comes to the help when the scheming Rochefort tries to pass off an imposter as heir to the throne of France.
This part-silent part-sound film, which was Fairbanks’ last swashbuckler, was rereleased in 1940 with a narration by the star.
