Oscar Movies: I Want You (1951)–Farley Granger in the Korean War

In this Cold War era Film, directed by Mark Robson, Farley Granger plays a high school grad who gets drafted intothe Korean War.

He persuades his older brother (Dana Andrews), a WWII vet, that enlisting is the right thing to do.

Simplistic and wearing it’s message on its sleeves, it was produced by Samuel Goldwyn, who hired top talent, such as novelist Irving Shaw, to work on the picture
