Dunkirk
At the 90th Academy Awards, Christopher Nolan’s WWII epic, Dunkirk, was awarded 3 Oscars: Best Sound Editing, Best Sound Mixing and Best Film Editing.
It received five further nominations for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Original Score and Best Production Design.

Nolan’s next movie, the 2023 epic biopic Oppenheimer, would be even more critically acclaimed, more thoroughly recognized by the Academy voters (13 Oscar nominations), and more commercially successful, domestically and commercially, earning almost 1 $billion!
