The film, which stars Renate Reinsve, Ellen Dorrit Petersen, Endre Hellestveit, was chosen as the Norwegian entry for the Best International Feature Oscar but was not among the five nominees.
After an alleged sexual aggression between two young boys, the parents and school staff are called in to clarify the incident. They convene Anders and Sarah, the parents of Jon, and Elizabeth (Renate Reinsve), the single mother of Armand, who allegedly assaulted Jon.
The whole movie takes place during the meeting between the school staff and the kids’ parents.
The best thing about the movie is the outstanding performance of Renate Reinsve, who would received a Best Actress Oscar nomination a year later, for Yoachim Trier’s Sentimental Value.
