CODA: One of worst movies to win the cioveted Best Picture Oscar
It won 3 Oscars, including Best Picture?
The first half of CODA probably ranks as the worst of any film that has ever won Best Picture, as we witness uninteresting characters committing all kinds of frustrating actions.
The final half improves, but it’s too little too late. CODA meant well, but how on earth did it win over such good pictures as Jane Campion’s The Power of the Dog and the Japanse meditative Drive My Car.
