Tarantino will make a directorial comeback with an original play he’s written.

According to the Daily Mail, which first reported the news, Tarantino has written an “old-fashioned British farce” which is aiming to open in the West End and bring together a troupe of actors in the comedy vein of “Noises Off.”

The director, who lives in Israel with his wife Daniella Pick and children, recently stepped in front of Welsh director Jame Adams’ camera and starred opposite Charlotte Gainsbourg, Simon Pegg, Sofia Boutella, Liam Hellmann and Lizzy McAlpine in the film “Only What We Carry,” which shot in Deauville. Adams said Tarantino was a “naturally gifted” actor. “He loves actors. He loves cinema history. Being in France making something that felt inspired by Rohmer excited him,” he said.

Earlier this week, Tarantino was the subject of false reports that had been killed in missile attack in Israel, but a source close to him dispelled the rumor and said he and his family were safe and sound.
