Writer-director Brian Helgeland’s new gangster movie, Legend, tells the story of notorious London mobsters Reggie and Ronnie Kray.
The handsome and talented Tom Hardy plays both Kray brothers in the period drama. The first trailer showcases the “Mad Max” star’s dual performances, including a brawl between the identical twins.
Reggie Kray is described as “the gangster prince of the East End,” and looks like the brains of the operation, while brother Ronnie is the brawn — otherwise known as “a violent, paranoid schizophrenic” with a taste for other men.
The film also stars Emily Browning, Taron Egerton, Colin Morgan, David Thewlis and Christopher Eccleston.
Universal will release the thriller in the U.S.
