Interview, The: Stars Seth Rogen and James Franco Got Paid…..

Seth Rogen was paid more than $8.4 million and his costar James Franco received $6.5 million for their new film The Interview, according to a Bloomberg report.

These figures were among a cache of files that hackers have stolen from Sony Pictures Entertainment and which they are now disseminating to the press as they release a steady stream of sensitive documents. The report further says that the movie, on which Rogen also served as co-director as well as one of the writers and producers cost $44 million.

The latest disclosures also include such minor revelations as that fact that Kevin Federline, Britney Spears‘ ex-husband, was paid $5,000 for a cameo in the movie and that a “table of weed, coke, pills and panties,” budgeted as a prop item at $250, came in at $241.

The cyber attackers also have released salaries of the studio’s top executives as well as sensitive informative like social security numbers for more than 3,800 studio employees.

On December 2, SPE CEO Michael Lynton and co-chairman Amy Pascal sent the studio personnel a memo calling the hack “a brazen attack on our company,” offering employees the services of an identity-protection comapny, and saying “we are working closely with law enforcement.”
